GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

This year, under the leadership of our President, Jim Dickinson, our club is researching the current needs of our volunteer fire departments, local animal rescue organizations, and area schools. As needs are identified, we are providing financial assistance and donations to help meet those needs.

Organizations and projects we have supported include:

The members of Sierra Cascade Street Rodders are all volunteers who generously donate their time and talents to make our annual Show & Shine Car Show a success.

For more than 35 years, proceeds from our Quincy Car Show have helped support volunteer fire departments, schools, animal rescue organizations, and other worthy causes throughout Plumas County.

We are sincerely grateful to the many local businesses that sponsor our Special Awards each year. Their continued generosity helps make our car show a memorable event for participants while supporting our charitable mission.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Corporate Sponsors. Their generous support is recognized with sponsor banners prominently displayed throughout the fairgrounds during the Show & Shine Car Show, providing participants and visitors the opportunity to recognize the businesses that make this event—and our community outreach—possible.

Together, our members, sponsors, volunteers, and participants are making a lasting difference in the communities we proudly serve.

Each year, we host a single fundraiser—our annual Show & Shine Car Show, held on the first Saturday in June at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy.

Through the generosity of our participants, sponsors, and volunteers, our 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 car shows raised a total of $26,839.90 to support local volunteer fire departments, animal rescue organizations, and area high schools. That’s an average of $6,709.98 invested back into our community each year.

None of this would be possible without the generous support of our Corporate Sponsors, Special Award Sponsors, participants, and the many volunteers who donate their time to make our annual car show a success.

Thank you for helping us make a lasting difference throughout Plumas County.
