Congratulations to Jay and Diane Skow!
Jay Skow has done it again!
Jay’s beautiful 1952 Ford Victoria was selected as a Hot August Nights (HAN) Event Winner at the Nothing But Fords Show, held on June 8, 2024, at the Bonanza Casino in Reno.
As an Event Winner, Jay and his Ford Victoria earned a coveted invitation to be displayed alongside more than 75 outstanding vehicles selected from car shows held throughout the previous year. These exceptional vehicles were showcased inside the Reno-Sparks Convention Center during Hot August Nights on August 11, 2024.
Congratulations to Jay on this outstanding achievement!
We also extend our congratulations to Diane Skow for her own accomplishments. Together, Diane and Jay continue to represent Sierra Cascade Street Rodders with pride and excellence.

Diane Skow has once again earned recognition for her beautiful 1932 Ford!
At the Women with Wheelz Car Show in Virginia City, Diane’s classic Ford captured the People’s Choice Award, a testament to the admiration of fellow participants and spectators alike. She also received one of the event’s Fashion Show Awards, making it an especially memorable day.
Although the weather was quite breezy, it was a fun-filled event celebrating women and their passion for classic automobiles.

Sierra Cascade Street Rodders members Jay and Diane Skow continue to earn national recognition for their stunning 1952 Ford Custom.
At the 2019 Starbird Rod & Custom Car Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, their beautifully restored ’52 Ford captured First Place in the Full Custom Class and the prestigious Best of Show award—an extraordinary accomplishment at one of the nation’s premier custom car shows.
Congratulations to Jay and Diane on these outstanding honors! Their dedication, craftsmanship, and passion for the hobby make us proud to have them as members of Sierra Cascade Street Rodders.
And here’s a remarkable bit of history—Jay has owned this car since he was in high school. That’s a lifelong bond between an owner and a very special automobile!
