Jay Skow has has done it once again! His 1952 Ford Victoria was chosen as a HAN (Hot August Nights) Event Winner at the “Nothing But Fords Show” on June 8, 2024 held at the Bonanza Casino in Reno. He and his car will be with the other 75+ cars chosen at car shows throughout the last year. They will all be inside the Reno convention Center on August 11, 2024. Congratulations to Diane and Jay! Diane Skow has once again gained recognition for her 1932 Ford. The Women with Wheelz car show was in Virginia City and it was a very breezy day but a fun show for the ladies.  Diane’s ‘32 got the People’s Choice award and then she also got one of the Fashion Show awards  It was fun to be at a car show again!

SCSR members Jay and Diane Skow, are gaining national recognition with their 1952 Ford Custom. At the 2019 Starbird Rod and Custom Car Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the ’52 took 1st place in the Full Custom class along with Best of Show! Big congratulations to Jay and Diane and their fantastic ’52 Ford! We’re all very proud of these SCSR members. By the way, Jay has owned this car since high school. How’s that for a lifetime bond!

Diane Skow with her ‘32 was a Celebrity Choice picked by the Reno Channel 2 anchor for the 2019 Hot August Nights. There were 30 participants stopped at parade center for award presentations & then lead the Hot August Nights parade!!  Exciting for Diane and great for another SCSR club member!
